Will the new Air Hogs "Hawk-Eye" Video Cam Helicopter fly outside? Video Clips.
Please read the Challenge. Here is more fun with toys I wish I had when I was a kid, as I am finally getting to play with them now at age 62! Here I demonstrate how the Air Hogs (to be released Fall, 2010) "Hawk Eye" camera helicopter (for the budding aerial photographers and for the old guys like me), flies outside. IR controlled, so just fly it when the sun is down. Also, it is difficult to see which way it is going at high altitude, so get it trimmed good, remembering not to shut it off in flight, as it will tumble to the ground, but without damage. As you can see, I have really whackoed this little heli and it just keeps going. No damage whatsoever. This may be tame for you purists, but it was fun for me to fly, just to make the video. Plus, having flown lots of big gas stuff, etc, this is a nice little "walk in the park". Who knows what you will do with one. So I welcome and look forward to any video responses you can make with your Hawkeyes, so bring 'em on when you can get them.... Ancient Mayan "Space Vehicle" Reverse Engineered. Video Clips.
Using the Ancient Mayan gold figurine as a guide, I made a model to see if it would fly with the HOLES on the wing. There is PHYSICAL PROOF (see links below) that other cultures way older than the Mayans and Before Christ that also showed technology. Being Naive about our Earth's history doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist. It does. I only ask questions in this video and am not making any "religious statements". Inspired by the book Chariots of the Gods by Erich von Daniken and the History Channel's recent airing of shows about USO's, UFO's and Ancient Aliens, we find the Mayans were a mysterious people who had retreated deep into the rain forests of southern Mexico and Guatemala after the Spanish first arrived in the Yucatán in 1511. How could they dream up flying vehicles? There are 5 figurines of (airplanes) found that are now owned by the State Bank of Bogota, Columbia. Replicas were rumored to have once been offered for sale in the gift shop of a local museum until the stunning but obvious airplane connection was made, when they were quietly withdrawn. Theres an uncanny resemblance to modern airplanes, but some mainstream archaeologists claim the tiny models are of insects, not of delta winged airplanes. There are 5 types of such gold airplane configurations, but only 5 are presented here. *Note There are no known South American insects that resemble these gold planes. Besides, insects were never represented in gold. In the video you will also see the Syakou-ki ...
If you're a helicopter fan, you've probably tried your hand at a few different aircraft in your time, and in the process you've probably become quite interested in how they work. Understanding the processes and mechanics of helicopters is another hobby in itself altogether, and there is a growing body of enthusiasm for studying the inner workings of RC models. As a sub-branch, a growing number of helicopter enthusiasts are now turning to RC helicopter kits as an extension to their hobby, and a more engaging way of getting involved.
RC helicopter kits can be great things to devote your time towards, but they can also be pretty tricky and time-consuming, so it's important to make sure you know what you're letting yourself in for before you plump for an RC helicopter kit, and vital that you make sure you have both the tools and the time to make it worthwhile.
Why RC Helicopter Kits?
When you're initially confronted with the idea of not only owning and flying a helicopter but actually building it, you might be a little skeptical. In actual fact, the building process, compiling the helicopter from kit form, can actually be both great fun and practically useful, giving you a greater insight into how the helicopter works.
Not only that, an RC helicopter kit can also make you more engaged with the project, and can allow for much more prolonged enjoyment and hobby time in getting the helicopter to a stage where it is ready to fly, these helicopter kits are also particularly educational, and can be great projects for parents and their children for example, or close friends with a shared passion for helicopters.
Choosing A Kit
So you've decided that you want to get your hands on an RC helicopter kit. Excellent. Next, you need to start having a think about choosing a kit, and finding the right one for you and your needs. Choosing a kit isn't as easy as you might think. There are a number of factors to be taken into account, not least price. The price of these helicopter kits can vary wildly depending on the levels of functionality your kit delivers. Furthermore, you need to also think about the expertise required to piece together your kit. Are you an experienced kit builder, or is this your first time working with this kind of project? Don't go buying an expert-level kit if you don't have the expertise, time or equipment to get it to a finished, functional stage. When you're choosing your kit, it's worth seriously thinking about your options, and trying to make the most informed decision possible.
What You Will Need
Quite simply, you'll need the three T's: time, tools and technique. Many RC helicopter kit enthusiasts start out with the best of intentions and quickly realize they don't have the time it takes to complete the project as they had originally intended. Or, they make the purchase thinking they might spend a couple of hours and end up getting frustrated at the length of time you need to put in to get the thing flying.
Similarly, they might not have the right tools and equipment, which can end up adding to the cost of the project from the off. Without both the right amount of time and type of tools, you're going to be struggling, and it's absolutely imperative that you take care to ensure you tick these boxes completely before even considering the skills you need to build. If you have limited abilities or experience, get a starters kit. RC helicopter kits range in complexity from those that are essentially pre-built components right down to the very bare bones, and its up to you to make the call as to which is most suitable.
The column of olive-drab colored M4 Sherman tanks ground its way through the dusty, narrow lanes of northern France. On either side, thick vegetation and hedgerows pressed in. Clumps of battle-weary GIs sprawled on the engine decks of the Shermans, exhausted after continuous combat but grateful for the free ride. Their weapons remained close at hand, ready for an ambush or the next engagement with their German adversaries. Such a scene can now be created thanks to the launch of Dragon?s latest Gen2 figure set. The 1/35 scale set includes four U.S. Army soldiers suitable for scenes in the 1944-45 period. These American tank riders are the first of their kind to be made available, making the set a valuable asset. Dragon has recently produced some accurate Sherman kits, and at last there are now infantry figures to populate these tanks. Each of the four figures is strikingly posed, either sitting or kneeling, and they have been carefully sculpted to fit onto a Sherman engine deck. Detail is sharp and incredibly refined in keeping with their Gen2 status. Combined they form an impressive NW European 1944-45 scene for Shermaholics. But of course, these figures are also inherently versatile as they can be depicted resting in just about any context. As with previous Gen2 figure sets, these GIs are equipped with the most detailed and latest in molded weaponry such as the Garand M1 and BAR. Their personal equipment is equally well represented in high-quality molded plastic. Indeed, the
This helicopter is a multifunction military combat helicopter, which had two civil versions - the Bell 204 and the Bell 205. Anyone searching for a Huey for sale may have a hard time locating one of these rare and discontinued aircrafts.
Developed in 1955 for the US Army back the last Huey Helicopter developed was in 1976. Out of more than 16,000 Huey Helicopters created, about 7,000 of them were used during the Vietnam War. Many brave pilots lost their lives in a Huey Helicopter and some aircrafts were lost with about half due to combat and half due to operational procedures.
They have long since become a symbol of the USA's involvement in the Vietnam War and Huey Helicopters for sale spark excitement in any pilot who is a war buff. The Huey is one of the world's most recognized helicopters, used for missions of support, air assault, cargo transport, medical evacuation, search and rescue, electronic warfare, and ground attack. Hueys for sale are a piece of American history.
The success of the Huey Helicopter depended on three reasons. First it had an ideal mix of cabin room, speed, and lifting capability. Secondly, the helicopter proved to be a rugged and reliable helicopter in service as it was battle ready and battle tough. Finally, the third reason was that Bell was so popular was its ability to be offered at an attractive and sold overseas.
Today it is hard to find a Huey for sale, but it is not impossible. The Blackhawk Helicopter replaced the Huey after the Vietnam Ware when the US Army phased them but they are still being used today on a limited basis. Other countries who Huey Helicopters are for sale on the open market still use them as well. And they can still be seen in air shows across the country and receive a lot of respect from those who know the history of the Huey helicopter.
Classified online sites such as craigslist are a great place to start searching for Helicopters for sale. They are also most likely to be found on an internet search than anywhere else. Google, Yahoo and other top search engines should produce some great info on these iconic helicopters. Safety should be taken into account when considering looking for a Huey for sale.
Age and condition should be two of the most important factors when searching for this aircraft. Since the youngest Huey aircraft is at least 33 years old and the fact that almost half of them were deployed during the war, it has had its share of battle. A certified aircraft mechanic should thoroughly inspect the aircraft before a purchase is made. Any equipment defects or weaknesses in the plane may be a deal breaker.
Huey Helicopters for sale is like find a sale on a little piece of American history and is popular among many pilots who had relatives who fought in the Vietnam War. They would like nothing more than to find a Huey for sale. They are out there and they are still flying. Do some research and find a solid and safe model to fly and soar the skies - but this time in peace.

Not being a morning person, my morning traffic scowl was put to the test recently when, upon arriving at the office, I found the whole staff scrambling around, some cowering under tables, and some just plainly enjoying themselves - chasing what seemed to be a large buzzing blue bug with bright colors and a flashing LED light!
Turns out our techie had brought in an air hogs helicopter, an indoor electric micro RC helicopter from SpinMaster. If you're not familiar with air hogs toys, you're in for a huge treat. This toy is probably the World's smallest remote controlled helicopter, similar to the Picco Z chopper, and fits into the palm of your hand, comes in super funky colors and ideal for indoor flight only.
In case you're thinking well, indoors only, it may get lost among the furniture etc... that's not the case, the air hogs helicopter comes standard with a flashing LED light that you can use for location purposes, and they also buzz, more like a large insect or bug.
The toy our techie had was an iridescent blue, slim line with dragonfly-like eyes with dragonfly wings to match.
As bothered as I was, let's face it, I love my morning scowl thank you very much; I couldn't help noticing just how nimble this machine was, it could literally fly in any direction, land on almost any surface and take off in like manner.
On closer investigation, I discovered that air hogs helicopters are made for ages 12 and up but honestly, any intelligent 5 year old can handle this bad boy with ease and glee, truth be told!
Whilst my morning rituals the moment I hit the office involve sipping the bitter coffee brew from the coffee maker before addressing the office, this morning was different and, with the remote control I'd wrestled from the manic depressive tech in my hand, I too became a Nims Island iguana that morning, running in all directions, dive bombing the temps and putting Gracey, our office Golden retriever, into cardiac arrest!
At first hand, I was kinda apprehensive attempting to fly such a tiny object around the office and into solid walls etc. I mean, air hogs toys measure just over 6 inches in length! However, these toys are really durable; they can take a lot of wall crashes or fall from the ceiling onto the floor and they're good to go again and again.
I was able to fly this toy as high as 10 feet within the warehouse, much to the amazement of Juan, our forklift operator, who swears by his ancestors to get a few for his brood, and he has a few!
These toys, especially the helicopters, are really fun toys for the whole family or, as in my case, the whole office.
The biggest drawback I got was, Air Hogs toys can be pretty addictive and, with Corporate breathing down my neck, I may as well kiss the bonus check goodbye, considering all the time spent monkeying around with this snazzy toy!
Time to undertake an employment performance evaluation on the techie responsible for this toy; someone needs to tell him how unproductive air hogs toys are!
